WDT: Sheridan announces run for Assembly

They should have made him wait more than a day before doing a story on his candidacy. There was a time when no one...and I mean no one....would have fed this story to Arcade Street before 260.  Times have changed.

It takes three generations to make a gentlemen
But it only takes two generations to squander the family fortune.
Look at what the Harvard Gal did...without their support.
Yup...times they...have changed.

8:58...Not sure as to the relevance of your point and 7:32, what do Japanese patterns have to do with an Assembly race in northern NY?

Sheridan's diversified experience will allow him to compete well against Addie...and I believe he is a long-time hunter which puts him on the proper side of Addie's SAFE Act issue. Just hoping Hank Ford and King Jennison will keep the race fair and not interpose their egos into it.

2:58, my point is that a powerful respected newspaper was built by some ancestors and with doing that these ancestors were respected and revered throughout the local counties. But now, the heir apparent has all but buried the family business, because of his liberal slant on all things. A proven recipe for failure in the news business. Its gotten so bad that candidates snub them in favor of local television stations. And a Harvard graduates wins an election with ease, despite a hostile failing local newspaper.

7:25 Agree, the old man liked Harvard. Jr., well Jr. is Jr. and a disappointment to the old man.
