WDT: Opposition to Blue Law Revisions Labled "Nonsense" in Editorial

An enlightened editorial this morning questioning why Assembly Democrats are dragging their feet on minor revisions to the state's post-Prohibition alcohol beverage control law governing Sunday morning sales for on premise licensees.
This is an easy to pass revision but as so often happens, Albany can't help itself when it comes to unduly regulating the most simple human and business functions.

Life would be so much easier and more pleasant without the "nannies' over our shoulders 24/7......

This reminds me that our state and the federal government need an amendment that requires all laws to automatically sunset. That way, all the stupid laws would automatically expire, forcing the sitting politicians to go on record "voting for stupid", if they want to reactivate the stupid laws.

Other countries, it's nothing to have a beer with breakfast. We still live with the Pure , even though they died out a hundred years ago or more.

Poor a beer on your Cheerios at home on Sunday morning Ray. You'll live.
