State Police Discover The Link Between Beer and Getting Horny...Film at Eleven

What passes for news in Lewis County.  A 20 year old man has a party with drinks at dad's house, and there's a 16 year old girl who of course has sex with said man.
Now it the drinking age were 18, the man would be in a social setting with other adults and not mixed in with the youngins.
Now everyone is stigmatized. The man will be labeled a sex offender and dad will have to pay a lawyer and pony up some cash to the system. I remember having parties at my parents house when I was that age and since the age of majority was 18, no problem, although I look back and think those times were simpler and there was no Internet to keep the event fresh in perpetuity.
Now the dad should have used better judgment, but he didn't and so we have another Lewis County drama to play out in our local bereft-of-news media.

Well, the good thing IS that she can get an abortion and she wouldn't have to ask her parents permission even if she was 8 years old.

Why wasn't he charged with statutory rape? good thing it didn't happen on campus like it does everyday there. Otherwise he would be in trouble for not having a singed contract of consent.
