Read Here First, But Now It's "Official"....Sheridan Gives MSM Exclusive to WWNY

It was announced last week to a private gathering of Repubicans and reported here, but the public announcement was reserved for a scheduled 645AM interview today with Jeff Cole on WWNY TV.
Former Dave Martin staffer, SLC GOP Chair and retired NYS employee Bill Sheridan announced his intention to seek the GOP nod for Assembly, setting up  a three way primary with John Byrne and Russ Finley.
No word on whether Mr. Sheridan has the inside track for the Conservative and Indy lines.
This isn't the first time a GOP candidate as spurned other media for a planned roll out on TV  7.
Two years ago, Matt Doheny did the same, angering print.
Mr. Sheridan will apparently seek to be the experienced , establishment candidate against Byrne whom he described as inexperienced.
It's too bad nobody announces with a presser anymore so you can see if they really have support.
The Democrat in the race is Assemblywoman Addie Russell who insiders say is favored.

The level of insanity in upstate GOP and Conservative parties leadership is truly awe inspiring. Setting up a three way primary only to split the 'anyone but Addie' vote is baffling at best. Unseating an entrenched incumbent is next to impossible in this state, a three way primary will only turn voters off in November thus ensuring that Dems hold the seat. The GOP needs to running a full on campaign against Addie and her proximity to ole Shelly Silver. A primary will only will only run down the eventual winner.

7:27 is the same person who would be complaining if the party went out and told (forced) two of them to get out. We still live in America and the majority controls

Makes no difference. All the whining and crying won't topple adelaide. Reason? They're too busy bellyaching to be bothered with voting!
