Politico: Stefanik Among Many Spurning Speaking Gig at RNC

She helped write the GOP platform in 2012 but this year Politico reports Rep. Elise Stefanik is passing on speaking at the RNC next month in Cleveland.   Usually an up and coming party star would gladly accept the recognition but this is the year of Trump where everyone is wary of the reaction back home.
Surely the WDT and the Post Star would get all indignant over any coziness with Mr. Trump, but I think speaking is an honor and worth doing.
We've never had an MOC with the juice to get a high profile speaking gig and this would have been a good year, but the party elites and intellectuals are busy hiding. I think it's a time to step up, because the notion that in 2020 everything goes back to the way it was is a dubious proposition.
Political parties are precarious enough these days, and the behavior of the elites may result in a Whig redux.

Elise lost my vote and my four family members, for not backing Trump when she should have.

With the juice? You mean we never had a congressional Representative with the correct genitalia and in the correct age group, to be selected to speak.

I don't know what she is afraid of? Maybe that next election she will only win by 54% instead of 64%??? Or is it that she is concerned about a date much further into the future? How does she feel about Brexit? Is it the end of humanity? Total protonic reversal? Let me guess, she won't speak to that either?

This is why trump won. He was not afraid to take a stand. He didn't cower to the media and he didn't apologize for things that warranted no apology. Put on your big girl pants Harvard Girl, and get out there and speak for the party !!!

Then a Whig redux it is.

It's time to take the gloves off and ask Elise the REAL questions Jeff!

The RNC tried to score Clint Eastwood as a guest to speak to all the empty chairs but even he declined.

She lost my support when she backed John Boehner for House leader...............

Backing Paul Ryan makes it two strikes.

There is one poster that has posted several times on this string and on another one of Jeff's frames.

Don't try for a second claiming to be Mr. Republican saying that you are going to vote for the Libratarian on another piece.

Who has been outed now Libtard!
