EDITORIAL: Candidate Funiciello should be taken seriously | poststar.com

That Post Star, way over on the other side of NY 21 which just joined the NNY district after the 2010 Census, likes to embrace the more progressive and more eclectic of candidates. They are big fans of home town baker Matt Funiciello.
The Post Star even predicts the Green could outpoll Democrat Mike Derrick....Probably not , as the major parties get a third of the vote for having a pulse, but still Mr. Funiciello is better known now and accepted by the media as legitimate (sort of on the west end.)
Hands down, Matt wins the contest to crack open some brew and watch the Super Bowl with. Whether that translates to higher than the 11% he got last time, I don't know. I'm rooting for him to get 15% this time, but for Rep. Stefanik to win.

Yup, but since we don't watch the Super Bowl, we won't have to worry about having a drink with the Commie Cook. Stefanik would be much more fun, interesting and intellectually stimulating, to have a drink with.

Hard to say if he will beat his old 11% and make it all the way to 15% but Stefanik will definitely break her old record of 54%. If she turns full blown RINO she could get Patty type numbers.

Dems want a chance this time to place the winning horse? He is the man! Dem you had on was fearful of the man already.

Yeah right... The 9/11 denialist will never be taken seriously.

The debates will be interesting. Last time both the GOP and Dem candidates lacked confidence and performed poorly. Funiciello wiped the floor with them both. Maybe this time things will be different.

11:15 Is this you? You are such a pompus a##. Please go back and play to your ovens and bake a cake with the nutjob Rosie 'O'Donnel.

Hey answer whether dope should be legalized, all your bakers coming in doped up, and you paying them $15.00 an hour which you believe will more than suffice what they should be earning when they are able to receive free health care, free food stamps, free phones, free heating, free free free all on our backs.

I am not the Baker and I don't agree with any of the issues mentioned above. I was just pointing out that his debating skills were far better than his opponents last time around. Considering his positions he should have been easy to dispatch, but that didn't happen.

I don't like his 911 crap. But he has so much more to say. He doesn't ride his ideas on 911 that hard anyway. He states it as he feels. No big. I have friends who believe the Moon landings are fake. Who cares?
