Dressing for Work

In a world of 'casual Fridays' and "I got my rights",  Erie County government is setting standards for county employees to dress while at work.
There was  a time such rules were just part of the job, but these days an increasing number of free spirits who believe life is "all about me", have made the workplace a haven for pants with holes and flip flops.
Of course there was a time when people dressed up to fly in a plane or go to dinner. Don't expect that to return, but the attempt by Erie County at standards is laudable....Just hope the AG doesn't take 'em to court.

The AG doesn't usually take his victims to court, because he rarely have a valid case. The bullying by the AG would end with a few letter exchanges by the AG telling the victim they are violating the rights of transgenders and other cultures. This which would cause the victims of the AG to capitulate. Check out Kinney Drugs and their hearing impaired settlement for an example. check out all the local contractors who didn't have "the words just so" on their contracts as an example of him not giving someone a chance to fix a harmless oversight. Instead the AG used it as a campaign press release. Notice what the luv guv, Cuomo and Shysterman have in common? They are all despicable, unscrupulous, amoral, self serving, dishonest, bullies. Oh and they were all NY AG's too.

However our challenged AG is, Schneiderman will be our next gov. The Dannies are already lined up, as usual, per se, as it were. Can't be worse than Benito. Can he?

Schools must set standards back the way they were.. I am offended when I go to school to see our children in special settings such as Xmas plays, chorus etc graduation.. The parents and the kids come dressed properly the teachers come in Jeans and whatever they please. They really have no respect for the familys they educate...

3:09, you are on it. Trouble is, teachers are only interested in their next contract. Minor issues like professionalism and accountability don't figure in their lifestyle.

It all started with the nurses being allowed to wear PJ's to work, remember the days of white uniforms, and starched hats???
