Court on the Docket Again

City Council will tonight again discuss changes to City Court that would be a two million dollar renovation to an aging City Hall.
One decision is still where the secured entrance should be.
City Court is busy but the two judges have worked together to avoid conflict. Judge Palermo handles the night and weekend arraignments and there seems to be a cooperative attitude between her and Judge Renzi.
The security arrangement has always been sketchy for years but a report out this week does question the expenditure in view of the age of the building and future demands.
Council will also discuss tonight the pending Arsenal Street renovations.

Lots of issues for the Council to clean up from previous regimes. I as most do appreciate the effort these folks are putting in to get these issues taken care of. I for one am looking forward to what this group can accomplish once the slate is clean.

Wrong, new mayor, two new members. The voting block of three, Graham, Burns (good God) and Macaluso is no longer. Lot's of changes, open your eyes people. 3:46, you shut up, and educate yourself. Justin just can't help himself because his guy lost. Move on

I like the idea of moving the court to the "Court Complex". This facility is already set up as a court with security, meeting rooms, office space, hearing rooms, etc.... Seems like the 2 new council people are on the ball on this one. Butler... not so much. He would do well to start listening to the new people as they are more in touch. Just goes to show you, the same old logic is still being used to keep the city down. Can't wait for the next election and more fresh ideas.

Mayor Butler acts like a spoiled brat way too much. Just like a little whiney brat; mine, mine, mine... Get over yourself and start acting like an adult! And start listening to the voters or you will end up another one term butler.

Saw the chan 7 report on this earlier. Kudos to the city engineer, at least someone has some common sense at city hall.
