Caution: More Raccoons and Other Sunday Musings

This morning while headed to the gym I noticed what appeared to be a dead raccoon on East Main Street near Lillian Street. Given the rabies concerns, this is a reminder to the neighborhood there are a lot of animals roaming around and we should all be extra cautious, especially with pets outdoors.
Don't leave any pet food out doors as it will attract others. Be cautious around dumpsters and trash cans as coons will hang out there.
By the way, that shooting on William Street must not have happened. Nothing in the paper today and I see the initial coverage on Newzjunky was taken down.  Good to see it didn't happen.

Why are you so obsessed with the non shooting on William St,weren't you just advocating this past week that the police department needs to be cut along with the fire dept?Even though the police have lost over twenty officers since the early nineties. But you can't have it both ways, holler to cut the officers then act all concerned when crime occurs in police absent neighborhoods.

It looked like it was a house cat to me. :-(

Could have been a cat. I identified it at 30mph

1142. There is no loss of 20 officers. The department is the same size now as then.

Wrong 2:28,used to have 83 or 84 officers they're now down to about 62.

Wonder what happens if an Officer calls in sick? Do they call someone in? Say somebody needed a ride after being involved in a Domestic Dispute? No it won't happen or did it? Would this be a "Chip" off the old block?

I thought the Coons had a summer place in the Adirondacks.

That's the test then; keep it quiet and it never happened?
