Another Friday Night Shooting Episode Reported

A week after reports of shots being fired on William Street, shots rang out again on the city's near east side Friday night, prompting police to urge people stay at home while they searched feverishly for the suspected shooter. No one was hurt but the probe initially focused on two Academy Street homes, according to press accounts.
Surely an unsettling experience for the neighborhood.

Just more decay of this run down city, gets worse every year. Real smart of our leaders to want to cut public safety services while this city is headed down hill. I guess when you live in the effluent neighborhoods it doesn't matter what happens in the rest of the city.

7.32 it's just Want A Be Thugs. Give fools a gun, they will shot them. Worry about the pros in this city who have guns. Won't see them running around city streets firing in the air. Promise it.

We are lucky this bullet did not spark a fire and burn down the entire east side. If this shooting isn't proof we need more fire captains I don't know what is.

Thank Obama and Benito. More to come with COR. The left is pushing low income housing as hard as they possibly can. Need places for the illegals and dirt bags to live ya know.

This is what you and Watertown money interests wanted; you sought a state & Federal welfare-based service economy with a transient populace constantly changing-over home ownership/occupancy. Now pay the price.

Good one 9:46. Every negative thing that happens in Watertown for the next decade will be due to the fire captain demotions.
