Albany Hears from Restaurants on Sunday Booze

Last minute lobbying by on premise licensees had produced nothing by day's end in Albany.  The Legislature just can't seem to get passed the Brunch Law, the measure that if written properly would make Sunday the same as every other day with 8AM openings allowed.
For some reason some think this is some great moral dilemma. It's just business.

I'm telling you, your lobbying money should be spent on a lawsuit. As soon as the liberal judge hears you argue that having this law in place, gives reverence to Judeo christian religion, they will throw it out as unconstitutional.

Good point, 7:06. They could even take the approach that sunday mornings are of special significance to the gay community. Benito will organize a parade and run the bill through in one midnight session. Just like the SAFE act, no discussion will be necessary.
