Watertown's Former Five-Term Mayor Offers His Take on Life in the North Country and Beyond
I wish VIna the best with this new venture. She has worked tirelessly and invested a bundle of money to make this happen. It is nice to see someone investing in downtown and bringing in ventures that make downtown a destination. We need more of this type of venture if we are going to make downtown great again. The city should be doing all they can to help make this a success.
Yes and the rate payers and taxpayers have helped out along the way...
I wish Ms. Bonner success. But with reservation. A lot of "free" tax-payer money has gone into this business. The WDT article states Ms. Bonner has invested nearly a million dollars. That's an awfully long way from her initial $132, 000 purchase of the building. Where did the great remainder come from Ma'am?
None of your business, 7:39.
I think that the tax payers have the right to know, The bonner's is always taking the tax payers money in all their business, the two food marts, state Street liquor which watertown did not need, and now this funxcape. All their business looks trashy and dirty. For the amount that the tax payers give them, way can't it look clean. We have a right to know
