Progressive Paradises on Each Coast.

Unbelievable.  The popular Chick-fil-a chain has opened a new store on Sixth Avenue in NYC.  Now Mayor DeBlasio is urging a boycott of the store that just invested in his city.
The reason ? The owner of the chain has said he supports traditional marriage and the mayor says that's a slight to the LGBT community.
This is an inappropriate exercise of the office.
Some more progressive thought has taken hold in California. Governor Brown has signed a bill raising the smoking age to 21.  The age for heroin, crack and other increasingly popular diversions remains unchanged.
The really funny part is the higher age doesn't apply to active duty military who still have the right to smoke at 18 ?  Huh ?

It Moonbeam's idea to entice kids to join the war effort so they can have the right to smoke like half of the 14 year old girls do. Oh that's right...Obama ended the wars. I meant to say police action effort against the JV team.

Apparently tolerance is a one way street for liberal to parade on. Can you imagine a Christian Pride parade in NYC, probably not? Progressive ideology is eerily similar to jihad in that both reject any notion of dissimilar thought, the message is convert, be subjected and quiet, or leave.

This is what we can expect with more of the golfers' influence. They love government. They love to control others. They are as un-American as can be.

Military smokers, of which I was one for years, reminded me of the joke we said in VN while reading that new cig surgeon gen label: WARNING: Smoking my be hazardous to your health."

Imagine reading that in the middle of firefight?

Isn't that some kind of public malfeasance? He is using his office as a platform to discourage the business opportunity of one taxpaying business owner which results in profits to other businesses selling the same kind of goods. It would seem he should be censured at least, perhaps an investigation by the Attorney General's office even.

Poor Christians - they still feel abused all across America just like in ancient Rome awaiting the lions in those arenas.

However, all the while they writes laws and trample on the rights of everyone who believes differently than they - every religion, different sexual orientations, different races and different "family values" and all in the name "their Christian values" as if no others mattered.

Christ Himself would be ashamed of their hypocrisy.

At least the weirdo DiBlasio allowed the business to be built before he started his bull.

In our fair city we wouldn't even allow a McDonalds to be built, which was planned right next door to a convenience store we wouldn't allow to be updated in an area ripe for business development on one of the busiest streets in the city.

Got a plan to open or update at business here in Watertown?
Get all your plans ready and arrange your financing and we will shoot down those plans and send you on your way!

There doesn't appear to be shortage of fools in government position anywhere in this state.

GeeWhiz, Dan, we knew you hated women, now you're showing your true colors with your disdain of Christians. Do you ever do or say or think anything that your party hasn't told you to say? Any fair minded person knows the movement, yours, to denigrate Chrisianity has been very active of late. Mostly since your Liar in Chief came to the throne. Whether it is the "In God We Trust" motto or your fear of the Ten Commandments, it never ends with you people. The Constitution never said to stamp out religion, it said government should not recognize a particular religion. But we all know your religion is the one with pointed ears and a tail. Praise the Donkey sect, as it were.
