Man Who Destroyed Watertown Fountain Pleads Guilty | WWNY TV 7

The man who destroyed the Lachenauer Square fountain has pleaded out and will go a year without a license...But by the time his license is restored it looks there will be no fountain. Council show no interest in restoring it despite receiving insurance money. Instead the 1960s sculpture sits on its side in a field on Marble Street.

What did City Council do with the insurance money you cite in the story ... we ought to know, right?

The guy will never be off the road because of no license.

He'll enroll in DDP and get a Conditional License to drive on till his
revocation time is over.

NYS is all about the money not getting drunks off the road. Fines and Surcharges is what it's all about in NYS. Pay them the money.

Agree with Danny on this one, where did the insurance money go? A lot of underhanded dealings going on at the third floor of city hall right now.
