She has the super delegates and she has the party brass and the media clamoring for Bernie Sanders to throw in the towel, but the prospect of losing the nation's largest state still isn't something the certain nominee wants to endure....So its off to my native state to campaign.
Meanwhile on the other side, talking head Bill Krystal tweets that there is indeed a conservative third party alternative willing to run but won't say who it is, setting off a flurry of excitement. I don't think there is such a candidate and since that person can't get an Electoral College win the only hope is to elect Hillary Clinton or win one or two states and throw it into the House where establishment Republicans could deny Trump. All of that sounds so long shot.
This week Donald Trump made an unnecessary and gratuitous attack on a federal judge and called him Mexican, even though he was born in Indiana.
I was only involved in one civil suit in my life and it never occurred to me to make fun of the judge's ethnicity. I wonder where Trump would be in this race if his likely opponent wasn't to reviled.
