Campaign: Well, Don't Take Me So Literally

Among the campaign sidebars on Wednesday was Donald Trump saying his Muslim ban proposal was just a suggestion. All part of a walk to the middle for the general. He also clarified his remarks about POW's and Senator McCain saying they are all heroes whether captured or not.
It's a delicate path for Mr. Trump as he got where he is by being the bull in the china shop and broaching issues no one would but being seen as "Presidential" is a good thnig now as well.
The candidate did pledge an entertaining convention and said he will name his VP then.
And the back hand shot of the day goes to current VP Joe Biden who said he thought Mrs Clinton would win but made sure to point out that old Joe would have been the best President and only decided not to run in the wake of his son's passing.
And after today's meeting with Speaker Ryan, it would be nice not to hear Republicans  mouth this line about how they are voting for "the nominee" but not endorsing him. Mr Trump was put were he is because of frustration with DC and DC needs to acknowledge that or face the consequences.

Your final sentence says it all. I am not a Trump fan, and although I have serious reservations about his intentions and abilities, I am also angry about the tone deaf RINO's in DC continually marching to a liberal drummer. Cruz would have been my first choice but I will vote for the Donald with pleasure (and hope he wins a landslide over whichever version of "Commie Lite" the Dems nominate......

Trump did not win because of frustrations with DC, he won because he was not afraid to fight. He did not back down from McCain, the media, the open border policy, and he was not afraid to criticize the most evil religion known as Islam. That is why we won and that is why he is winning.

What he finally puts into policy is not as important as him being willing to propose it and not be afraid of the media backlash.

Look at revelation about facebook this week and we all can see that they have to censor ideas in order to let their libtard ideas win in the marketplace of ideas. Don't forget that after Cruz single handedly shut down the govenrment, the GOP destroyed the democrats in the elections, in spite of the media telling us how everyone hated the GOP for doing that.

Trump is doing nothing different than he has the whole campaign, so what's the fuss? He makes a bold statement and when pressed to the wall about it starts waffling. Such is the personality of a man who has no principles and stands for nothing except "making the deal".

Still, that's a better choice than a communist or a closet communist.

I have also noticed the long knives are starting to come out on both sides. Oh, this campaign cycle s going to be soooooooooo entertaining.

What the Dannies and the D:>><&^;s are not telling you is this is a suggestion for a temporary halt. There has never been a proposal for a permanent ban. This is a dangerous time. For our Liar in Chief to push for more importation of party line Democrat votes at this time is not very smart. Then again maybe it is. What our local leadership kings are also not telling us is every poll in existence shows a strong majority in ALL states support this temporary ban.

I wrote about this exact point a couple of times and Mr. T continues to deliver: "Ban Muslims - yeah, only a suggestion" for someone else to determine, I guess???

Trump is Evolving

On another note: I hope he does either pick former Gov. Jan Brewer (AZ) or OK Gov. Mary Fallin as his Vee Pee ... either one of them would compete with Palin for the nutty prize.

Brewer for her anti-immigration stance and pro-"open carry" gun stance, and Fallin for the OK law pending that would jail any MD who performed an abortion.

Go for it, Donald, please, pretty please.

I hate to admit it and wouldn't if asked but Biden seems like he would be a good candidate compared to what we have in front of us!

I really, really hope Trump becomes President. Sometimes the only way to show people how stupid they are is to give them exactly what they want. But, Trump is the candidate, and I sure as heck don't want Hildabeast anywhere near the White House, so..................

Have only voted for a candidate I liked twice in my lifetime. Every other election it has been to vote against somebody, so why should this election be any different?

And Dan again chooses to be dishonest about the facts. It is not a ban, Dannie. It is a temporary halt to mass immigration from this part of the world. It has been done before. Considering the situation in the world, this temporary ban makes sense. We do not need tens of thousands at this time. If the open door continues, the least we can do is house them near the golf course. Admit it. These fine folks will go on welfare, claim victimhood, and vote just like you do. And this is if we are lucky. That's why you love them so much.

Yeah, Angela Merkle found out rather quickly what a "boon" to German society they were, didn't she? As have France, Belgium and the UK.
