Army shrinks to smallest level since before World War II

The Army doesn't have minimum manning so as budgets contract, it's troop strength falls too.

Damn Obama, right, just don't blame the GOP and their mandatory / automatic budget cuts (known as: sequestration) right??? (LOL LOL)

This really matters not. The Liar in Chief has no credibility with our enemies. No sense in investing in something everyone knows will never be used. The important thing is to lie to the American people so Iran can have nukes, and bend over in Crimea so Putin can show how much he owns our little muslim.

Still no response on that NYTimes story documenting how Obama lied about the entire Iranian deal. Kelmcrip, you're up. Didn't they include that in your talking points?

Sorry, but that monument looks like a piece of construction debris.

Went to see that monstrosity today , it is not. Only butt ugly but a tremendous waste of coin. I am sick of glorifying anything about war and destruction . Let help people and forget these incredibly useless monuments to the absurdity of death and destruction in the name of nationalism and intrusion into the internal affairs of others .

What Dannie is not saying is this unfortunate fact. The idea for sequestration came from a Mr Jack Lew, of the White House. So Dan, you are not being honest about this at all. Did you learn all these tactics at war hero leadership training?

Way to run away from that 800 pound gorilla!
Why is it, if you can't debate a subject, you hide behind a red herring?
So, simple question... Who caused sequestration to be the way it is, Democrats or Republicans?
Don't bother posting a response if it's more of your spineless deflection.

Still Obama bashers how come the same people who talk crap about Obama and Hillary. Go silent and deaf. When the Bushes were the worst presidents we ever had screwed our country over started wars put us in money problems. And they just seem to just walk away and nothing is done about it. But mess up on you're phone or get health care to millions and they have a baby. What is wrong with this picture big money and power that's what .

You folks must forgive the fiscally ignorant who commented above, who have no knowledge of fiancial matters, because they live on the golf course, pay no taxes and spent their careers having everything paid for by their employer, from food to housing to education.

Its all pretty simple. We used to spend 2 trillion per year under bush. then Obama doubled it to 4 trillion per year. Sequestration was enacted to cut 100 billion from that 4 trillion new normal that Obama created. Over ten years that 100 billion would add to a trillion, so we pretend that it was a trillion dollar cut, but it wasn't.

So after sequestration, we still were spending an extra trillion dollars per year from what we were.

In the meantime, Obama turned much of our military budget toward putting unqualified womyn into combat positions, hiding the epidemic of rape that was caused by his social experiments and giving more billions to Iran.

So now we have the largest military budget in history, but we don't spend it on an army

In the same fashion he now spends the NASA budget, not on rockets, but on climate change research. And we spend our infrastructure money, not on roads and bridges, but on transgender mandates, environmental studies and green energy contracts.

Seems counter productive to continue building new housing when the military is smaller and people are moving out of state to be employed. We do not gain anything allowing pilots to lessen our revenues. The result is zombie houses leaving the COW holding the bag.

Yes, the monument is an eyesore.
I don't see it as a monument to the 10th, I see it as a monument to the shadow govenrment profiteers who exploit the soldiers. Funny to see the three area hospitals all making donations. The same hospitals that have their hands out constantly and can't run themselves. And of course the car dealerships all donated. What can you afford for payments...never mind the interest rate. But I don't fault them for donating like I do the hospitals.

Too bad the new mayor doesn't have the good sense to move that monument down to public square where it belongs. He could kill two eyesores with one giant stone.

Sorry guys, but try to keep your panties dry. The idea came from the White House. No amount of vibrating will change that fact. Dannie, and his fellow cabooses, are not telling the truth. Happens all the time.

Who voted the Budget Control Act (Sequestration) in to law 803? Do you need a hint? :D

Anonymous said...

Same question for 1047. Who voted sequestration in to law? Democrats or republicans?

Danny M. Francis (Eyepublius) said...

True the idea of sequestration did come from Mr. Obama as a technique to get Congress on board with rational, logical, and common-sense budgets ... they did not. Look blast me all you want, but the final outcome or even the process is NOT whose idea it was or is. It's the proof in the final pudding and that is congress.

The power of the purse as they all are proud to boast about and not the President. He approves bills or not; they pass or are not.

The blame about these automatic cuts lies squarely with the ALL-GOP congress when they refused to deal with Mr. Obama across the board - actually on most anything.

... deal with that.

Its fun for the golf course guy to repeat their taking points from donkey central. But the fact is that we spend more on the military today than we did when Bush left office, even after you account for inflation. We could let them get away with their lame sequestration fake excuse, if Obama simply cut the Army back to 2007 levels or even 2000 levels. But he cut it back to 1930's levels.

ok, it's the GOP's fault it shrank. Do you really think if they proposed increasing the size the dummycrats would be on board? I though so.
You lefty idiots just can't have a truthful discussion...

D?/##: Try to keep your mind focused and try to be honest now and then. That would precude you from taking advice from the golfer. The BILL that contained the sequestration was voted on and signed by Congress. The CONCEPT of sequestration came from Mr Jack Lew. He was a White House employee, operative, insider, whatever you want to call it. The very idea of sequestration came from the White House. You can lie all you want about it. You can spin, dampen yourself, play golf on it, and even to go leadership training about it. Facts will not change. Every once in a while, D:^^&), you have to admit the truth.

So you admit the republican congress willfully voted for this legiation 207?

Thank you for finally owning up to it.

Reading the whining and bitching about the monument, I had to go up in the park and see it for myself today. It's not that bad, and it's not even finished so maybe you guys can hold your water.. Not to mention it didn't cost you, the taxpayer, a dime. Oh, the whining and crying is just breaking my heart, maybe the next time you're in a drugstore you can check out the feminine hygiene product aisle and pick up some Midol and Tampax to ease your cramps and suffering.

Anonymous said...

Sorry 5:50 but the whole idea of that monument is wrong . Regardless of how it is funded , it glorifies something that is inherently EVIL .

Anonymous said...

5:50, the only one here whining here is you. The rest of us were just pointing out the obvious fault with the monument.

Not only are you dumber than a box of rocks, but you are also a big fat lying sack of sugar and spice. Where do you think the $100k of free money came from that pAddie Ritchie secured? We the tax payers, that's where. Where do you think the money came from that the three area hospitals donated? We the taxpayers, that's where. And where do you think the land came from where the damn piece of crap was built? From we the tax payers. It is obvious what the real reason is that drew you up to the park today, and it wasn't just to gaze longingly at the phallic symbol monument for your erotica fix.

No 4:47, I'm sorry you such a bad Mother's Day. But I can understand her feelings. The ideas was the White House's. It became part of a bill that congress voted on. But the entire concept was yours. It becomes more and more clear that stooges like you just cannot carry on an honest debate. But dishonesty, and selling bs to dumbasses, is what you are all about. No wonder the nation is in such trouble. Be sure to enjoy and exercise your new bathroom privileges, D>?@bs.

Anonymous said...

So you admit the republican congress intentionally voted for sequestration. End of discussion Son. :D

Anonymous said...

Good god you idiots are pig headed. It doesn't matter who voted for sequestration because sequestration has nothing to do whatsoever with our Army being at a record low since WW II. We are still spending record money on our military, regardless of sequestration.

Anonymous said...

Might as well save your breath, 7:47. Facts are something that doesn't carry much weight these days. It just confuses people.

Explaining that this sequestration thing was nothing but a smoke and mirrors magic act to sucker the unwashed masses into believing the buttwipes in DC actually gave a shit about runaway spending is about like trying to teach a bucket of dirt to sing like Beverly Sills.

And you are right. It doesn't matter a fig about who thought it up or who voted for or against it.

Oh, and 6:42, were your ancestors Tories by any chance?

A $19 TRILLION dollar debt is Dannie's idea of "rational, logical, common-sense" budgets. Right there you can see the man for what he is. And it ain't an American with the next generation in mind.

So Obama is going to Japan to say his is sorry for the Hiroshima bombing! True our Democratic President bombed two civilian cities with nuclear weapons. Sort of ended the war the Japanese started! I wonder if the Japanese will come here and say sorry for Pearl Harbor?

Anonymous said...

9:37..Or the Bataan Death March, or the mass rapes in China, or the carving up of live humans to do medical testing.. Nah, our little lying sack of crap president is fine with all that.

At the Nuremberg trials after world war two many of the European leaders were either jailed or executed. The Japanese leader was not punished! Hmmmmmm. Our governemnt claimed there wasn't anyone capable to lead Japan! Then we let them send as many cars here to sell while no American cars were allowed to be sold in Japan! I thought he won that war!
