WDT: City Steps Up in The War on Bugs

The City is designating dollars for the fight against bedbugs.  All of this should be a Public Health issue on the matter of education and a personal responsibility issue on eradication.

Yes it's terrible the city is helping people that pay taxes! How dare!

Sounds like 6:00 AM needs more help than anyone else, since his brain is obviously too tiny to fathom drawing the line where govenrment should end and where personal responsibility should begin. Does the city have a program for him yet?

My son may be searching for an apartment in a lodging house in the City. Does the County or City have a listing of apartments that have been infested in the last year? Isn't there a government official supervising the bedbug problem? Does anyone know that person's name?

9:38,there is a bedbug listing online,if you do a general search,it should come up,it shows bedbugs in hotels nationwide, along with comments from people that stayed in the rooms.I checked it,and yes, there were several hotels in Watertown that had the problem.

Convergys is now warning all new hires during their training that the workplace is infested with bed bugs. Any apartment complex in the city can get infested if any tenants work at Convergys or any other workplace that is infested.
