The desperate scramble for Bernie's secret weapon - POLITICO

With Democrats ready towrite the obituary for the Sanders campaign, picking the carcass comes to mind. The email and donor data base that has fueled the opposition to Hillary Clinton has value to the establishment that assumes anyone who gave to or supported the Senator will do the same for the Secretary  Fall in line for the good of the party.
Some will, but some gave as encouragement for a movement and have no interest in old guard party politics. You know those people. The ones whose lives are not defined by two groups staring across an aisle at each other.
Both parties are showing the signs of wear. They just don't know it yet.

You got it backwards. The ones who would fall in line even if thier guy looses, are the ones whose lives are not defined by two groups. The ones that have been trying to take over the democrat party with a commie and would refuse to support the party if they fail to take it over, are the one's whose lives are defined by two groups...us and them.

10:32 wrong again , The voters in both Trump's and Bernie's corners have more in common than you might imagine BUT one major commonality is disgust eith BOTH parties, The Pacs and good ole gal/boy nature of party machinations .

And THAT genie aint gonna be put back in the bottle again ! Both parties are dinosaurs IF they fail to UNDERSTAND that and make change to get their dead ,tired and owned asses moving for the COLLECTIVE good . NO more infighting they MUST GET SHIT DONE if they are to be relevant today .

8:34, you don't know what you are talking bout. Sure the voters for Trump and Bernie have something in common. Trump voters give and Bernie voters take from them...that's what they have in common.

If they are both disgusted with the two parties, that is fine. but if they refuse to pick one and support it after all the dust is settled, then that means their life is defined by two groups...us and them. The sensible person will hold their nose and pick one. Its been that way since the founding of parties in our country. The entire nature of the system is you have to pick from what is offered. Stamping your feet and going home to mommy's basement is not a good idea.

10:13 wrong again there are MANY other options other than either or .

THIRD Party being the best option , it will split the vote even more and siphon off the vote from TWO flawed , make that very flawed candidates .Long term ,if enough people are angry with the major parties , THEN this is a way to break them up and fracture the hold they have .

TIME is on the side of the new generation voter and the other minority demographics who together ARE the new majority .

Party line dinosaurs are becoming endangered , my friend . The. Boneyard beckons 🤓

12:54, you may be right. Now that you mention it, third parties are always winning elections.

I can see why you would say that Bernie is very flawed but Hillary is just flawed, not very flawed, so that's not fair. But who am I to say, since you are the resident expert on the issue of "flawed".
