Syracuse woman behind 'Fagbug' gay pride car attacked by man at post office | syracuse.com

A 38 year old Syracuse woman who drove all around the country in her gay pride "FagBug", never had any problems till she was in her hometown recently where a man accosted her at the bank.

Its a nice paint job but it is kinda ironic that the "f" word  is like the "n" word.  Some people can use it at will...others would lose their job if they uttered it.
Goes without saying the guy who accosted her is a jerk. However Beetles do dress us nicely. I had a nice campaign vinyl job back in 2011 and it did attract attention.

Sometimes the attention seekers get more attention than they can deal with.

She shouldn't have been attacked by anybody. Her and her girlfriend should be given all the respect they deserve. Their stunt makes all bendovers proud. It should have been a simple case of a dog pissing on some tires.

Follow the money. I'll bet Daddie financed that paint job, or some other of the same ilk.

I notice lately that they are cutting the word retard out of comedy movies, apparently it is referred to as the R word and no longer to be used. What word will be next I wonder,we get so offended by words we are killing off the right to free speech.

What? said...

Retard free speech? Serious? Do you describe Japanese as yellow people? It's offensive! Retard used in a movie is wrong! It's a hurtful term. It's like all the comments about people who have gender issues should not use a bathroom with kids. They just want to use the bathroom! They are not molesters! Please think about it a bit before posting.

No I don't describe Chinese people as yellow people, I describe them as chinks. And I seem to have found the chink in your armor, you are awfully sensitive. As for me I don't have any problem with any word, at least then I know what people are thinking when they use them. And if you can't have a sense of humor, if you intend on being sensitive the rest of your life, you're going to be offended for a long time.

I like that, 3:21. Chinks it is. Unfortunately, many people stay up late trying to find ways to be offended. And you thought baseball was the national pastime. It's really professional victimhood. There is an entire political party based on this premise, per se.

"Faggot" was censored on radio station broadcasts of Dire Straits "Money for Nothing" in Canada a few years ago. Totally ruined that song on the radio. People really are too sensitive about things these days.

Even just restricting it to mental status, how about the Binet/Simon scale of intelligence. The terms idiot, moron, and imbecile were used clinically to describe people of subpar levels on the scale. They are now used pejoratively, but does that mean they should be outlawed like "retard"? What is next, you cannot call someone stupid,or dumb?Sorry, free speech is a slippery slope, and outlawing words is always wrong.I suggest instead you make a mental note to not associate with the person,if you are so offended by their words.

Can tell you the retard thing is just wrong. It's to standard of a term for people with a range of problems. Some of which are just looking different. You don't have an issue with it till a child of yours is sitting in front of a TV crying over the word. All she has is Down Sindrom. Has IQ largerthan some hick who uses words like retard. Is that clear? You are an unkind person. I can make that different. To late for you.

Was not talking about calling a little kid a name, bullying is different from a comedy movie which has no connection to you,can you understand that?Probably not,but you are the intelligent one, while I am just a hick..however,a hick that can spell Syndrome, and use the words to and too in proper context.

Go with ritard, it's about music, meaning slow. Totally acceptable to the professional crybabies, at least for now.

How about you're a little slow instead of retard. OR THE N WORD to getto type, Not gay but happy go lucky. No matter what you say someone is going to be pissed we have turned into a bunch of pus you get it can't say the whole word. Can't make everyone happy. Pretty soon we will have to point and nod to get our words across .

You are a hick. Nothing I can do to fix it. Plus I said the kid has a higher IQ than you, not me. Plus my pad fixed the spelling. Lovely tech. But who cares? You think it's cool to use the words like that, go into a large crowd of people to test that. See how excepted it is. Did you stop to think some of us look forward to an educated, smart, kind, and better form of human? Not that guy who thinks offensive words are funny on TV. No you didn't. Hicks don't think that way. My daughter is a person who would forgive your way of thinking, an or the lack of it.

that is "Accepted" moron, not excepted.I can only hope your kid's apple doesn't fall far from the tree, but it wouldn't appear so.As far as hick, how do you know that I am not from a large city, don't you realize you are on the most popular political blog out there?Over a million views and counting, and I may be in NYC,or Washington,or Chicago. However, your calling me names(note that I did not call anyone names)is bruising my feelings..perhaps I can petition some kindly politician to have the word hick added to the last of words we can no longer use..

I was always told sticks and stones will break you're bones but names will never hurt you. 7:7 Its called life get on with it.

You miss the point, and live right here in hick city. Spelling? It's your not willing to understand what some look for. A world where you don't have to throw a name on everyone. A person is a person. But you stay in the 50's. No water cooler for some.

Careful 6:50 your intolerance is showing, you get butthurt over the word "retard" in a movie, but you easily toss out the word "hick" at others.Seems the only names you don't like are those that you infer are applying to yourself and your kid.And yes, spelling and punctuation is an indicator of intelligence,or the lack thereof.Which you are (not your)amply exhibiting..

What you need to keep in mind, is that when someone attacks a Trump supporter at a Trump rally, it is what we call a protester protesting. But when someone attacks an over-the-top in-your-face gay-rights attention-whore, its nothing but a hate crime.

6:50 You have to live in the real world and the real world is cruel. go down south its worse . You have to realize up here they didn't have any black people to speak of up here that was in the 70's so the mind set just was not open to what was going on all over the country as for a gay person. They had to hide because they still live in the stone age up here so its not going to happen over night. Yea a person is a person you have good people and bad people its not going to change for a lot of them no matter what we say hate is going to be a mind set for those people

What? said...

Again. What you are and what some want. Oranges and apples. Some looked for a change that will never happen. Yes using hick is just as bad. We are all filled to the top with names for each other. That's how America, and many other countries deal. I could care less if sit around the camp fire tonight setting some farts off, and talking about your day. Enjoy it.

In the interests of full disclosure, the movie I was referencing was National Lampoon's Vacation.. And the girl called her brother "retard". If a little comment like that during a spat between a brother and sister results in people being unable to cope with a word, especially when it is not directed at them, this world is way too sensitive and touchy feely for me..
