Monday

Maybe it was a mistake, but I got an email today from June inviting me to the budget briefing Wednesday at the SOB hosted by Diedre Scozzafava. I have a tight schedule so likely will be unable to make it, but appreciate the invitation.
Got a look at Johnny Spezzano's remodeled studio. It looks nice. I'll try to sneak a photo tomorrow.
Tonight Council will discuss naming rights for the Arena.   Insiders say the hope is to get $50K a year from a business, but I say you'd be lucky to get $5K, and in the end, it's an affront to taxpayers who really paid for it. I suspect the request for bids will go out.
The City is advertising for workers for the concession. $9.50 an hour.  It's a fun gig if you are dependable and looking for something to do in addition to making a little extra money.
Big rallies tonight in Milwaukee right across the street from each other....A Trump and a Sanders rally both at 8 PM.....That would be fun to be there.
In a few days those rallies come to NY !

Fast food pays $9.75 ever since January.
Shouldn't they at least match that rate?

It is inconsistent to think of all the things that are named after people, which were built and bought with tax payer dollars, yet you choose this time to declare it is an affront to the tax payer. JCC named a building recently.

Naming it after George Washington or Thomas Jefferson is OK. Naming it the AAMCO Arena in exchange for a couple grand, not so good.

I like the AAMCO arena. That guy put a lot of time into sports and youth. May just be the right fit. I wasn't thinking that at first but that would be a great choice.

How about the Dannyus I. Publious Skating Rink and Golfer's Extravaganzaa? You could put up a podium and microphone for him and he could drone on,and on,and on,at public events.

Really Junie, the sisterhood still alive and well with you and Dede feeding at the trough with your lifelong pensions and health care plans?

Meanwhile we the slowly disappearing middleclass members simply can't afford to pay your share anymore when it is becoming increasingly difficult to pay my bills to keep afloat.
