Will GOP Leadership Really Throw the Election to Stop Trump ?

With turnout up and participation outstripping Democrats the GOP high command is in some cases openly pledging to vote for Hillary Clinton or not vote at all. It's all part of the purge Trump campaign that led to the Romney speech and the tens of millions being spent in Florida to detail Mr. Trump.
Mr. Romney led that string of establishment party leaders threatening to throw the election to Ms. Clinton if Mr. Trump wins the nomination.
Senator Lindsey Graham is another rabid anti Trump leader who seems to feel the same way.
Looking at the math, Mr. Trump will have to do something to make sur he gets to 1237 as if he is at all short, deals will be tough to find in Cleveland.

The establishment are fools. If they had left Trump alone the base would have soured on him already and then they could be spending their money trying to sink Cruz. Trump's performance in the last debate has caused some of the base to turn to Cruz, but the number of Trump democrats switching parties is increasing. If Trump is our next President, both parties will be moving further to the left and the establishment will be back in control in four years. Only Cruz can repair the damage done by both parties in the past three decades.

The people who apologized for speaking the truth about the 47 percent and apologized for Senator Atkin's legitimate rape comment? Even though Mitt was only off by 2 percent and rape is the most falsely reported crime in the world and up to 47 percent are falls accusations (in other words not legitimate). Of course they are going to do a preemptive apology for Trump. Apologize is what they do.

5:14 Oh come off it. It's one big sham by the Democrats since Trump's entire life has been lived as bonafide social left diehard Dem.

Last evening Hilly at one of her events professed "I will never have a person like that become the President of the United States" She was referring to The Donald.

Code, it's in the bag, the game is rigged not by the stupid GOP, (couldn't be any dumber they didn't see the true art of the deal by Trump) but by the Dem. party themselves which Trump is one of.

The Republican establishment has already written off the Presidency. What they are mainly concerned about is a Trump nomination's effect on the down ticket candidates running for the House and Senate. A lot of conservatives (and Republican moderates) will sit out the election if Trump gets the nomination. If a generally acceptable conservative runs as a third party, this will bring out anti-Trump Republicans to vote. Although it would split the conservative vote for the Presidency, and hand the election to Hillary Clinton, it would also bring in more voters to pull the lever for their House and Senate candidates. Otherwise, the Senate would certainly go Democratic and the House could even be at risk.

Sure they can and will. They put Mitt on the skids last time. Ate up their own till when it counted we were sick of looking at him. Trump needs to keep a back door in place just in case they screw him. If I was him, I'd have a third party lined up anyway. Screw the signed pack crap! They are the ones breaking the agreement.
