WDT: DEC closing its snowmobile trails for season, citing warm temperatures

It's good to know state officials are able to establish a connection between lack of snow and warm temperatures , and having to shut down snowmobile trails.

Why didn't Cuomo himself do this? He keeps an eye on I81 so that he can close it down when it snows. I would think he is watching the trails too.

It's outrageous that the DEC can commandeer our land by buying up all the paper mills and forcing everyone who was leasing their land to close their hunting camps. And then they think they have total control over things like snowmobile trails. If someone wants to ruin their sled by running it through the mud, let them. No long term damage except to the egos of these DEC thugs.

10:16, don't you care about the polar bears? The science is in and snowmobiles running in the mud are melting the ice sheets and killing the bears. You either don't care or are a science denier.
