WDT: Why the poor pay more for toilet paper — and just about everything else

Well, shopping in convenience stores with the EBT card doesn't help either.

The story is complete nonsense, but we are not surprised that Perrykoss would print it. Its not that "the poor" can't afford to buy the better value bulk quantity, its that they spent all their money that would have afforded the purchase, on five dollar scratch offs and a thirty packs of the beast. Simply put, the poor spend their money in the same way they do most things in life...with no self discipline. Poverty is a character flaw.

It just goes to show that the poor are poor because they don't understand basic math.

It’s expensive to be poor??? More like it's expensive to be stupid...

They pay more for things because they didn't work for the money they are spending...YOU DID!

Simple answer that question, they take a lot of shit from those shovel it out at them and look down on them (EBT/SNAP users) and thus they need more T-paper to clean up the mess all around them. Simple logic.

If they are looked down upon it is because so many use the EBT for currency tradin steaks n shrimp for the luxuries.
Can't be buying shit tickets with the EBT... that's used to barter for a pack of smokes.

Out of TP? Go to Quickie Mart and swipe the roll from the restroom.

Oh come on now, who are you all fooling here? The poor in general are far more sensible with their finances than the rich. The poor have to be sensible with their money. The rich however, "blow" their money on rediculous purchases. In fact 9:03, the rich have greater drug/alcohol addictions (read up on it sometime!). So the poor buy the "beast". The rich buy Scotch.

11.38 you are so far off on the rich. Ever try to sell some of them the basics? Some are so tight that a dime wouldn't fall out of their cheeks. I promise you that.
