I totally agree! It seems to be much easier for law enforcement agencies around here to boast about their 'big' busts hoping no one will realize that they haven't spent time and energy on the REAL problem around here! So typical. I feel much safer now knowing convenient stores are being kept in line!

I totally agree! Again, local law enforcement agencies make the 'big'bust. Hopeing no one notices they don't spend the time or energy on the REAL problem around here! I don't know about anyone else, but, I feel much safer knowing our convenient stores are being kept in line.

It's illegal for these under age stooges to ask someone to sell them alcohol.

Whatever happened to community policing? How many of the city police actually walk around neighborhoods and get to know the residents within the community? That type of interaction would go a long way toward warding off some of these problems. Assign foot patrols to frequent specific neighborhoods so that they can get to know the residents. It's not rocket science.

Too busy protecting the CM.

Give us a break with the CM blame for every disparaging thing going on in the city today 6:24. And for that matter, every current council person. Many of these problems grew over a number of years, and in case you haven't noticed, some of the faces are those that were in office for a long, long time, who now sit back and throw criticisms.
