Thursday Fun and Follies

Enjoyed my visit to the Arena for the ceremonial ribbon cutting and the chance to shat with a few friends, including the Mayor.  Things looked good and the city run snack bar is all set up, so now the MSM can report such.
In politics, I got a photo of GOP Assembly candidate Russ Finley in Buffalo this week at the Jack Kemp Dinner. He was posing with Conservative boss Mike Long and Mr. Kemp's son and another man.

Mr. Finley is well acquainted with the hierarchy of the NYS Conservative Party and is seeking the W/P from Mr. Long.   Melding the Conservative and Republican lines is essential to anyone hoping to beat Assemblywoman Addie Russell, who is expected to run a much better campaign than the one two years ago that almost cost her the seat
On radio today, Glenn raised the matter of two people in a red Impala in my parking lot on Saturday. I chose to eschew the details on the HOTLINE as it's a family show.

It's always good to shat with friend. I'm sure it was so dirty conversation.

Where is the great white hope of the GOP, Phil Reed or is his biennial boasting about being the best candidate out there gone for another two years?

Does this mean the mayor of Theresa will be putting up (fill in the blank) of the latest opponent for Addie??? If so he should be ashamed of himself for the FREE Police Car she got for the Village...Because he couldn't do the paper work....

I caught some of it on the news. Its the first time I have heard the city manager make a comment on channel seven. I couldn't help but notice all the high paid city employees, including the city manager, who are spending their time on this snack bar. Not a good use of city salaries.
