Will The North Country Back Trump ?

The numbers seem to point to a Trump win in Cleveland, but there are still meetings among insiders devising ways to derail him, even talking about a conservative third party candidate (unlikely).   The Speaker has not ruled out swooping in at the Convention in Cleveland.
Donald Trump had a big night, but is still talking about polls and the crooked press.
Some have seen their candidates (Bush, then Rubio) crash and burn and still seem reluctant....
But the old ways are not the ways of this year and many new to Republican primary voting may herald a transformation the bow tie GOP can't imagine.
The primary onslaught slows a little with AZ the big prize next week. Fifty eight votes in a winner take all. That's a state Mr Trump seems well positioned in.....New York's April 19 primary is looking more and more important. Who would have thought ?
So far, only one person in NNY GOP politics (a former candidate and behind the scenes activist) has openly backed Mr. Trump.  Will anyone else ?

It won't matter if our area backs Trump robot. The North Country votes are irrelevant.

I never voted for Mr Doheny because what seemed like big character flaws but I listen to what he has to say about things.. I certainly agree with him on this issue about Trump is the person most suitable for us to vote for.
Our congresswoman is a big disappointment in this matter. She refuses to support any canidate and in doing that she exposes just how establishment she really is.. Get in line and do what the elites say and they will throw you an occassional bone. Thats consistant with whats been going on with her for over a year now.
Until we can weed out these people who do exactly what they are told to do we never will be a great nation again..

Bush and Rubio did crash and thats because of good reporting and factual reporting. They both have been exposed by reporters for what they really are and the electorate of Florida agree.
Their ties to organized drug running and money laundrying in Florida and Texas and the people they associate with have brought them both down.

"Former candidate and behind the scenes activist"? More like motivational poster maker. No one respects the guy anymore. Not even himself, it seems.

9:30- it's VERY risky for someone currently in office to take position this early. Look at Chris Christie who has endured not stop criticism since hopping on the Trump bandwagon. It's better for our community if she sits back until the outcome is more clear. If she supports Trump now and he doesn't make it she's done our area a huge disservice because she will be out of favor with whomever the nominee ultimately is. It's not worth the risk. It's politics. Lame. Disloyal. Opportunistic. Awful. But it is what it is and she has to be smart and play the game strategically, not emotionally.

6:51 - that is an awful thing to say, let alone honestly believe.

I like the "Trump - Get on board, or get run over" hoodies. Kind of sounds like "you're either with us, or against us."

Nothing fascist about that...

Dannie is right, in a way, unfortunately. But 6:51 is right too. NNY votes haven't counted for a long time. There are plenty of NY City believers that would vote in anyone, as long as they have a D next to their name.
