Split Schedules for Wage Hikes

The minimum wage deal is struck. Read the story and try to figure it out.  To me it means low end workers in NNY fare less well than downstaters.

Well at least now the ill conceived ice rink's concession stand may make a profit. Doubtful, but possible.

Who cares? The people who are stupid enough to listen to Benito's bs will already vote Democrat. They have been and will for their entire life. Benito gave them a turd, and they now all have wet panties. Happy Days.

The GOP needs to pay for this. The republican voters should throw them out of power. What do they gain by NOT throwing them out?

Sounds like typical media lying in the headlines. The wage is raised to $15 period. The same wage board that already passed $15 for fast food, is going to examine the results and possibly not let it stick for upstate? Sure they will.

If this is true I want every person that works in Patty Ritchies district sit down and take a deep breath and think for a few minutes as to just how good her representation is for us.
She has fought the wage increase since shes been in office and now for her to accept a compromise on this issue is very degrading to us in NNY. I dont call this a compromise I call it a complete sellout of her constituants.. I want you to think of some of her promises when she was running and tell me what in the hell has this woman done for us at all..

Last year I read an editorial by a Republican suggesting that children who allegedly need school lunches might be better off checking their fridge, because the writer expects everyone's fridge is full and that maybe the poor just forget to look. Ronald Reagan said most air pollution was caused by trees. His secretary of the interior, who ran the national parks, said Jesus was going to be upset when he returned and saw us hording his bounty. John McCain ran on a platform that called for a coal powered automobile. They all seem to claim global warming is a hoax. They believe babies can't come from rape, and some say rape is impossible if a woman clenches. Many think the Bible is literally true, despite the internal contradictions that make literal truth impossible. They believe things that can not be proved and disbelieve things that can not be disproved. They believe immigration is an insurmountable problem, but endorse self-immigration, a sarcastic proposal by a Hispanic comic made in jest (he signed his name Daniel D. Portado, but they did not get the pun). A majority believe Stephen Colbert is a conservative. Evolution is a lie by the devil, as is embryology, according to a prominent Republican gynecologist. The US spends 10 times what most countries spend per capita on defense and they always suggesting upping the ante. They think there is no bad reason for shooting an unarmed black man and they think Europe is socialist (look it up, there are no socialist countries in Europe).

Donald Trump is making reasonable Republican look like asses. Why reasonable Republicans have done nothing to reign in the party in the last 15 years is beyond me. I can only conclude they no longer have a powerbase within the party. The party has therefore sought anti-democratic means to retain power, such as repealing the bulk of campaign finance laws, taking gerrymandering to new heights, having the main provisions of the Voting Rights Act declared unconstitutional, contriving to see blacks stand in formidable lines when voting, and making voting more difficult. Last month, a former Speaker of the House was refused the ID necessary to vote.

How about we let OTHER states experiment with their citizen's livelihood?

3:02, because of party line stooges like you throughout NYS, Republicans have limited power. Include a little truth in your golfer speech. Blaming Ritchie is a bit stupid, even for a deep thinking like you.
