Lawmaker Wants St Patrick's Day a School Holiday

Let's see....students could spend St. Patrick's Day at school...maybe learning a bit about Irish heritage and its role in history...studying Irish literature and music....having fun activities and dressing in green....Or they and the teachers could have a day off and nobody will learn anything.
Sounds like a good idea, right ?

There's a real good idea. Just what the kids(and teachers) need, another day off. Whomever thought of this idea must have been drunk. After this weekends festivities, the'll have the Shamrock Shakes on Monday(not from McD's) and hopefully come to their senses.

Election Day should be a holiday.

Why don't they just start the day four hours late, and never take the kids off the bus? We have to find ways to cut down on the stress of our educators.

How about making March Irish history month?
