Hillary Feels the Bern

Nate Silver had pegged her chances @ 99%.....But he and all of us were shocked as Bernie Sanders upset Hillary Clinton to win the Michigan Democratic primary.
The media clamor had been he was done and while the nomination is a long shot , losing a large, industrial state with Detroit in it is a blow to the front runner who hours earlier had won Mississippi by a large margin.
Trade issues and that testy debate may have tipped the race.
Donald Trump won the two big ones putting him back on track although it looked like Idaho went for Ted Cruz.   Hawaii was past my bedtime.

Yes she has I think she did pivot to the Main Election to soon only time will tell. I hope he does rattle her cage even more then he already has. Trump took the media spotlight away from her having to answer ???? again tonight about her results Bernie's ability to still show how he can still be effective....

To bad what the voters want isn't always what the established want. That's the sickness we face in this election and many before. The people know what they want. But it's not what they want. I'm kind of sick of they.

Even Democrats have a problem with Hillary. The lying, the crimes, the bribary, the race baiting, all have taken a toll on all but the most dedicated golfer.

Bernie won in Michigan? Apparently, even the libtards who routinely try to label the GOP as racist, do not fall for the racist card trick. Even though Berni is a racist. Witness his black lives matter more than white lives sentiment.

While I don't agree with Bernie's position on anything, at least by all accounts he's genuine, honest and trustworthy, all traits missing Hillary is missing. Having said that, Bernie has no chance, given the Democratic party, (democratic in name only) stacks the decks against an outside candidate, through the use of super delegates who in many cases are pure party hacks who would never defy the so called establishment.

Given the way the way the structure is stacked against him, there's no why he'll win the nomination. Even if he wins the popular vote and majority of elected delegates he can't overcome the lead provided by the super delegates.

For those who think Hillary might be indicted dream on. In no why, no how will DOJ prosecute.

For Republicans Hillary as an opponent is better than have Bernie. It'll be a stretch for Hillary to accuse Trump of being dishonest and untrustworthy. Also, no once started working Clinton over as yet, on the issue of State Department deal approvals, that seemed to follow contributions to the Clinton foundation, which in itself is something Republicans need to investigate. But might only be coincidence, that approvals followed the contributions but there were far too many of them to be only a coincidence.

Democrats have to realize that Hillary is a Bush surrogate. A vote for her is a vote for the Bush Dynasty.

It amazes me how so many who post here at this trough of enlightenment, who I suspect who are not DEMS, consider themselves expert about DEM races and DEM policy and DEM whatever, yet all the while they will not invoke their "vast" knowledge to help explain or justify what hell is wrong with the GOP as they at the tope try to derail the obvious pick the voters are choosing?

Democracy in action, ala GOP, right.... okee, dokee, then.

And you wonder Danny, why so many cut you from the herd just to pull your tail. Funny!

Anyway... I find it amusing that after all the crowing Hillary did about saving the auto industry that she loses the very state that is the home to said manufacturers.

2:10pm, our Super Vet, who just today, said that hatred and anger never solved anything. Did you forget about the Revolutionary War, that led to the founding of this great nation, the Civil War that divided and reunited this nation, or World Wars 1 and 2; that helped keep this world from falling apart. I have this feeling that you were a desk jockey veteran, knew all the answers, and everything else, nobody knows anything. But I have faith in humanity, that no matter how controlling the establishment may be, they will have the focus and determination, to overcome these shackles. P.S., have you ever really looked at your girl Hillary's eyes, when she's giving a speech . If you really do know anything about interrogations, you will know she has (lying) eyes.

After last night's so called “press conference" Trump would make a great huckster for QVC.

If this shameless display (and yes, the media was complicit in showing him hawking his merchandise in prime time) doesn’t convince the Trump rubes that they are being conned big time, then I wonder whether this country even deserves a democracy. How can we possibly function when Trump voters are among the "poorly educated", which he "loves"?

With Trump Water, Wine and Steak, Is It Primary Night or an Infomercial?

“After his victories in the Michigan and Mississippi Republican primaries on Tuesday night, Donald J. Trump held a news conference at his golf resort in Jupiter, Fla., in which he briefly turned cable news networks into his own personal warehouse club. With the usual row of United States flags was a display table of products: America’s brand alongside Mr. Trump’s, not necessarily in that order. There was Trump Water, wines from Trump Winery and, above all, a bloody heap of steaks….

It was the most brazen display of meat in an American presidential campaign since last Thursday’s Republican debate...”
