Dyngus Day...When We Join Our Polish Friends in Saying Farewell to Lenten Virtue

   With Lent and Easter behind us, it's time to cut loose a little and one of those traditions is Dyngus Day, a holiday of sorts with Ukranian and Polish roots. It is celebrated in many Polish communities in the US.
     I suppose it's the bookend to Fat Tuesday.
