WDT: Trying to Revive a Patient With No Pulse Isn't Easy

One of the most depressed areas of NNY is that southern section of the Big County , around Star Lake and Newton Falls.   Jones and Laughlin is long gone and the Newton Falls Paper Mill has been propped up as often as the Hotel Syracuse.
Now $10M in state money is being used to refurbish the rail line in hopes building it will make them come......The question is who is coming ?

Newton Falls is a UNMARKED GRAVE.

The question is: "Where the hell is Handy Andy getting all the money from for all his ideas"?

"If you build it, they will come." Great movie line but reality is more tricky. Once finished this will be railroad to no where. At least Carthage will get a slight bump in economic activity as a few out of town workers migrate in for a short stay.

From Albany, donkeys have tried every modern economic cure from bloodletting to trepanation and still no good results have trickled up here? I am shocked.

Sheer lunacy , soon to be a ghost town why is NYS pissing our money away on this nonsense ?

My guess is the only ones "coming" will be the vultures refurbing the rail line. Ez money right there.
