Here's the latest Trump controversy....made more important because the party its directed towards is not Muslims or Mexicans, but the press.
I listened to the speech in Arkansas and when I heard it, I knew it would be news...The notion of changing libel laws is anathema to a press given a free hand by the First Amendment and subsequent case law.
Actually, it's not the rich who suffer from press excesses as money always gets consideration. It's often the little guy without the money or moxie to fight back who gets screwed.. But that's the price we pay for free speech and I support that.
The Donald's speech was rambling and too long, with too much defense against Rubio's barrage. The intro by Governor Christie was spot on though.
What I couldn't believe today was the rhetoric from both Mr. Trump and Senator Rubio. Never heard anything like it. Not very Presidential for sure, and there's an opening for John Kasich as the adult in the room....Although that stuff isn't as important as it used to be.
