WDT: Fort Drum’s economic impact measured at $1.22 billion, fourth decrease in a row

Fort Drum continues to be an important part of the local economy, even though the impact has shrunk in recent years.
All of this points to the need for diversity in the economy, but also the need to continue to make the post relevant to the DC crowd.

Well, if Carl is on it it has to be well analyzed!

WOW - what a concept - diversify. Who'd a-thunk that after 20++ years that woulda been a concept. Maybe Alcoa could be convinced to come to town... or General Motors. Or maybe another chain fast food joint.

I say fire up a buffet and invite the local econmoronic wonkers.
