This Is the Dirtiest Presidential Race Since ’72

     Team Nixon's dismantling of the Ed Muskie campaign was brilliant if it happened the way its portrayed in this article. In races big and small there are examples of brilliant smears that never see the light of day.
     In 1972, they didn't have the Internet or 24/7 cable news, making the ditching of the Maine Senator especially epic.
