NY-21: Stefanik Given Independence Party Nod

Oh boy, all the staffers in the State Senator's offices will have to carry all these Indy petitions.  They are such a pain to find these people. Just your standard cross endorse all upstate GOP candidates get.

Not like previous years when somebody had to take an envelope to Utica.

I could be wrong but this is no different than the Dems. getting the Womens' line and the WFP signatures?

As an Independence Party member, I'm tired of these cross endorsements. If I wanted to vote Republican, I'd be a member of that party. I wish they could get back to fielding their own candidates like they sort of did in the beginning which is why I registered Independence.

I'd change to Independent, but don't want to seem like a caring citizen and get tagged with jury duty.

Jockeying for "other party" line(s) is a game they all play.

Independence Party may be for her again and that's okay, but she is anything but an "independent thinker or House voter or vote" in that regard - that much is for sure, and she has the record to prove it.

Call her Rep. "Lockstep" Stefanik since that fits her perfectly.

And now 7:12 preaches about independent thinking, calling someone a "lockstep". You can't make this stuff up.

I walked away from the line, just because of all the cross line crap. I agree, might as well be a Rep. or a Dem. They field no member of their own. They just want the votes on that line to keep the party alive.
