Lending a Hand to Those Who Have a Leg Up

More tax breaks for housing ?
Any of the rest of us who purchase building materials for our homes, businesses or rental properties don't get the corporate welfare the big guys do.
If we have to worry about the poor eating lobster, can we feel the same about the largesse slathered on the rich ?

The JCIDA is a bunch of clowns. Just when you think this group of self-absorbed, elitist, jerks have a modicum of common sense, they go right back to handing out freebies.
What do our representatives have to say about this corporate welfare?

Spot on, Mayor

Quit complaining mayor and jump on the gravy train.
This RINO crap and crony capitalism is why someone like Trump can get votes or why we have a new mayor who cut his teeth on Drum.

Although, there is no comparing of all the welfare scum who take the lion's share of the budget from each local county, year after year, with someone not paying sales tax on building materials.

We as in most of us dont worry about the people on assistance eating lobster and Steak. The only people concerned about this are the Republican Senators locally...
We have many jealous people that see people in line with food stamps buying what they could but dont. Given the chance these same people would trample others to get the assistance.
I think Patti Ritchie has turned into a very poor represenative of the majority of the people in her district, worried about controling what people eat is a very serious low in her tenure.

Almost as funny as the last council that approved a break for Maple Courts, that place was owned by Ford Motor Co. and was a write off to start with...

And CDBG funding to boot for Maple Courts...

What a crap deal for the county tax payers. Its no wonder taxes keep going through the roof and services are dropping. This tax break can be considered welfare for billion dollar companies. Its only the middle case that does not get welfare, the top and bottom are taken care of.

Come on Mayor...I voted for you and all, but...
Our pet name for you was "if its free its for me", when it came to every city project. Your only issue with this is that its not in the city this time.
