Watertown's Former Five-Term Mayor Offers His Take on Life in the North Country and Beyond
Was there blood running up hill like the Vince Foster crime scene?
Article slightly outdated. Latest update from his Doctor is that he was seen last week for a sore shoulder, but that his health problems were minor.
As Elmer Fudd would say: Dares sometin scwewy goin' on awound here.
How can you say that this is not just some cheap trick to stop the Supreme Court from turning away from the lock that the right has had on it for decades? Sounds like a lot of whining about the Chief Justice's unfortunate timing of his death. Like people, this is just the way things happen. I heard on the news tonight that seven times Supreme Court nominations were made in the last year of a President's term. Yet Ted Cruz wants to stir up this to simply do what....right, get votes. Cruz should simply shut up. He will never get elected so stop trying to continue the polarization of our Congress. This is the best reason to keep him as far from any decision making position as possible.

dajeep, I always enjoy your posts. Don't ever leave us. We need a balance of humor and fact. You are always a great addition to the Mayor's Blog.
7:32, spare us the BS about the "conservative lock" the Court has been in. From ObamaCare to open borders, this court has been anything but conservative. One more softball player, and the Constitution will be a dead document.
From CNN just today: In a statement today, the owner of the ranch clarified to CNN what he meant when he told the San Antonio Express the judge was found with a "pillow over his head" further saying:"I think enough disclosures were made and what I said precisely was accurate. He had a pillow over his head, not over his face as some have been saying. The pillow was against the headboard and over his head when he was discovered. He looked like someone who had had a restful night's sleep. There was no evidence of anything else."A U.S. law-enforcement source told CNN: "There was absolutely nothing out of the ordinary in Justice Scalia's room. There were no signs of foul play."
Danny, do you ever grow tired of defending the indefeasible? An autopsy was warranted. End of story. They don't do them just when foul play is suspected. They do them to RULE OUT foul play.
