Is Rubio About to Rush to the Nomination ?

It's looking more and more like Marco Rubio may end up the GOP nominee this year. Governor Bobby Jindal just endorsed him and everyone else is speaking in couched terms until they are sure Jeb! is DOA.
Ted Cruz is looking swarmy after the tapes came out demonstrating his dirty tricks in Iowa against Ben Carson.  The Donald was snowed out of NH today and needs a reassuring performance in the debate Saturday and a better ground game.....
For all the talk of an open Convention, these things can stampede quickly and people will be pushed aside and feel obliged to endorse the person they see having a future with.
I think Senator Rubio is thin gruel and a GOP version of Barack Obama.
However, these are times when talk of experience, leadership and knowledge are not in demand.
There are no "it's your turn" nominations as this is a year the dogs are not eating the dog food.

You are correct that he is the GOP version of Obama. But conservatism doesn't require a Sanders/Obama third rate college professor to muse in the faculty lounge and come up with nothing new under the sun Utopian ideas. You can be as simple as an Alaskan governor and still grasp the genius of conservatism and implement it. You can sit from your MENSA perch and sneer all you want, but he is a Senator and you are not. That gruel must be more viscous than you think.

I don't know about a rush... But yes, he's the RINO nom. Write that down kids!

Will not get my vote. He is in the pocket of Paul Singer, the most liberal republican donor.

We have the clearest choice in my lifetime about the direction we want our government to go. If you wish to begin the process of restoring the Republic, there is one clear choice. I you wish to continue down the road to socialism, you vote for anybody else. If you wish to jump from where we are to pure communism in one fell swoop, you have one clear choice, also.

Rubio had to actually get elected to the Senate.
Obama merely had to be the nominee and once that happened he was guaranteed election because he had a D next to his name.

8 am says to 12 pm,

If I sounded snarky, that was not my intention at all. I was simply trying to sum up the current political situation. Cruz is the only candidate who gives a rats ass about honoring the restrictions the Constitution places upon the government, Sanders will throw us over the cliff into pure communism if he can get his way, and everyone else is merely a varying degree of how quickly we continue down the road to socialism. This is my opinion, of course, but if you think about it and truly study the candidates stated positions and the records of their actions, I believe you would agree with me.

So 8 am .......Respectfully speaking TED cannot be trusted , ask Carson !! He imho also puts forth simplistic solutions to complex issues and is a very POLARIZING individual .and has very few allies in the Senate and House and would have an extremly difficult job governing as a result

He like Rubio has memorized too darn many 30 second canned sound bite speechs while never having actually been an executive who like a governor or a mayor was acccountable

Moreover it is very likely that the east and left coast demographic tsunami would bury him If he ever made it to the general election .

There is more to this Carson thing and meets the eye. From what I have been reading this is another media manufactured crisis out of plain old politics. As far as his status within the established political scene his is despised because he will not compromise his principles to appease his worthless compadres within the party. The solutions to the problems this country faces are much simpler than you think. You are thinking like a Japanese engineer. In other words, you are looking for $3,000 solutions to $30 problems.

Your basic statement has merit and I share your concerns. However my statement that Cruz is the only candidate who has any respect for the Constitution still stands.
