Water Woes

Those water woes in Flint, MI make you think beyond the health concerns to the impact on everyday life. Sure you can drink bottled water but what about all the businesses with ice machines and soda guns that rely on municipal water ?    Who'd order a drink ?
There's bathing and cooking, laundry and lawns....Some might not want any contamination. Who'd buy a house there ?
    What a mess.

Junknews has again chosen to share BS. Today's puke includes a story about what happens to women who are "turned away" from having abortions. It is implied that this problem is caused by lack of funds. Sorry JN, women of all economic levels can and do receive abortions. Often, very often, they are subject to a high level of taxpayer subsidy. The millions planned parenthood receives from the feds have few restrictions. Fackcheck will confirm that although these funds are NOT earmarked for abortions, they can and are used for this fine service. JunkNews should consider the source when they reprint propaganda.
Nobody gets "turned away". Great story though. Trouble is, it's BS.

And somehow the blame goes to the state leader instead of the city leader. Guess which one has an R next to his name and which one has a D.

If any of these people in Flint plan on moving to Northern NY, c'mon up! I've got a place up in Orleans on the market that has GREAT water!

Ima, the important thing is we make sure the buck stops at the state level and our president who has a D next to his name, gets no blame. How 'bout if we do what Obama did for the first 5 years of his presidency and just blame Bush?
