Sources: Hochul will replace de Blasio for Groundhog Day duties | POLITICO

Doesn't anyone do their job ?   Last week Mayor Bill deBlasio rightly criticized Governor Christie for his tepid interest in the storm that flooded the shore towns.  Governor Christie wanted to campaign in NH.

Now it's Mayor deBlasio who is the shirker and he is not even running. Rumor is Hizzoner will miss the annual Groundhog Day ceremonies as he will be in Iowa stumping for Hillary Clinton. Just who in the Hawkeye State is interested in hearing from Mayor deBlasio.

The good news is that LG Hochul will hoist the rodent and she is an able and affable replacement.

It is only right to criticize Christie for not grabbing a mop, in the minds of a partisan hack. The same hypocrites who say GOP candidates should quit their day job before running for another office.

The fact is that the best candidate to take a higher office, is one who currently serves in a lower office. It is a small price to pay to have them distracted from their current office. If you are shallow enough to want people to quit their current job, before interviewing for a promotion, then pass a law requiring it. But of course you wouldn't advocate for that because then it would mean the democrats would have to do it too.

Can't blame "Lazy Bill" for not showing up for this photo-op. Didn't he kill the groundhog a year or two ago?

Didn't deBlasio kill the groundhog last time?

The answer to all the questions is; de Blasio IS a groundhog!
