What happened to the REPLACE part of this never ending repeal effort? I wouldn't have a problem with the barrage of repeal votes if our RINO Congress had a single new idea to bring to the table.

Mizz Katz, the reason is money. We are not getting better care and it is costing us more than it is helping. Is this lady a full time fool?

There are many good thoughts out there, such as tort reform and allowing companies more freedom to compete, 9:31. Don't swallow all that's given you, per se.

9:31 Why Repeal and replace. Just repeal and you and however many illegals and middle class people that have stopped participating in the workforce. Can you say 94million able bodies not working, pay your own fair share of your own health insurance. I'm also sick of paying for these gold plated insurance plans to every NYS emmployee. You are not worth a spit in the bucket.

Me. I'm tired of seeing my co-pays and insurance premiums go up year in and year out since Obamacare was forced on us. As of Jan. 1 2016 my premiums went up another 13%, where is the 2,500 that Obama was going to save me back in 2009 and every year forward.

They waited way to long. It would destroy so many people if it was shut down now.

The "incurable need" is driven by the voters who voted for the Representatives and Senators. The better question is what is fueling Obama's petulance and refusal to accommodate the majority who don't like or Obamacare. The answer is the voter base of freestuff still wants Obamacare.

Thoughts? I hear prayers are helpful too 1249. Either the gop needs to bring a replacement forward or accept that Obamacare is here to stay.

This GOP - yeah that GOP: No shame, no plan for the millions now with health care except a swift kick to the curb - while they play to their braindead base for votes and promises for max repeal with GOPer in the W/H.

The Republicans have no clue on how to govern this country let alone replace Obamacare with anything useful. Their recent effort would have removed the individual mandate, but insurers would still have had to take all applicants. Thus the young and healthy would have gone without insurance and mostly the sick would have signed up. Not a well thought out policy but it does excite the base.

8:15, not nearly as scary as a Nancy Pelosi run House. Puke.

And NY21 adds his golfing skills to the mix, barfing out the same partisan garbage we have come to expect from him. It's falling apart, Sir. No amount of spin will change that fact. There were plenty of good ideas coming from the Republicans, things like tort reform and open competition from insurance sellers. But your Nancy Pelosi got it passed without considering any of it. That's why you no longer control the House.

GOP has good points. But first they need a replacement for something that (to bad it happened) has replaced our health system we had. I know people who have became totally part of the system the President supplied. I had to take mother dear to the ER last weekend. She pays every dime she has to have insurance. Some young girl (maybe 22) was screaming that the ER was not going to give her anymore pain killers for a broken wrist. Something I can tell you I know about. Ranting and running out the door. She had used up the 60 day supply of pain killers in less than two weeks. So hell she was mad at the system. She wasn't getting anymore. Not unless she paid for them. Which means over the counter stuff. OMG she was mad that she was going to have to take that stuff! She had to buy it! I can picture she has already purchased something new for her pain. Not over the counter mind you. But who knows? Any how... That's what we would face. People running into the streets yelling about the free being at an end. The pain they have. Their needs! I broke my back, wrist into several pieces, and had several bone cracks. Took the meds for about a week, stopped. Didn't need them. Yes the dam wrist hurt like it was being burned at night. But I didn't want to end up a drug freak. Off work for years complaining about the pain. Four months later I got back to work. Yes every darn day sucks. But it is a choice. But know eight years of letting people just sit around and collect everything for free ha screwed our country. We at this point have to find a new future. It sure isn't more of the same Danny. I see your point. If they repealed it today, Our country would fall on it's collective ass. The GOP needs a real plan.

This effort is purely symbolic. It is just cover for their cowardly approval of the Omnibus Bill. The establishment GOP is all bark and no bite.

How do you make libtards understand anything. The object is not to repeal and replace. The object is to get rid of fascist centralized control of our healthcare system. Canada is about the size of California and they have a healthcare system in each province. The reason is that bigger is not better.
