Council Work Session

Tonight's Council session will feature a discussion on the Fairgrounds Arena concession, as well as a look at the state of rental housing in Watertown.
The proposed landlord registration law is expected soon.
I will be anxiously awaiting Craig Fox' story in the morning paper so I know what happened.

Maybe they will review the prints to see what the concession area was to intended to be? Better late than not at all. But hey its not THEIR $.

As the spouse of a schoolteacher, I would have thought Mayor Butler would have cancelled the Monday meeting. It's really cold. And according to NJ, the snow could make driving more hazardous.

I, too, am eagerly awaiting Mr. Fox's newspaper column to hear more about the Watertown Arena Concession area. Hopefully, there will be provisions adjusted so the arena can obtain a cooking stove, a fryer, a commercial dishwasher, and 220 outlets. With $10.4 million taxpayer dollars being spent, let's at least be able to have burgers, fries, and hot chili at our hockey games. I saw on TV that former Councilman Paul Simmons has good ideas, too.
