Big Snow in the Big Apple, Dry Up Here

A near record 26.8 inches of snow blanketed Central Park this weekend.  The storm shows that weather is not always a precise science as forecast models in the days ahead of the storm suggested the Big Apple would only be on the edge of the storm.
Storm coverage in NYC is easy to do so the storm dominates our Sunday news, providing a little respite from politics which will return soon as Iowa is only eight days away.
As for winter weather.. Up here it's fine with typical January temps but no snow, and that's OK.
