Warm Temperatures Greet Climate Change Marchers in NNY

Climate change was the subject of a march through downtown Potsdam this weekend. About forty students participated, as an announcement on the issue is expected soon from the climate talks going on in Paris.
The good news is students had great weather for their march and its getting better.
On Monday, temperatures are expected in the sixties.

Our planet has a long history of being fairly stable when it is much colder than it is today or a little warmer. Given the choice between a globe of ice or a slightly warmer globe, with less beachfront in Florida, the choice is clear that the survival of humans depends on the planet warming stead of heading into an ice age. It needs to be emphasized that the planet has NEVER ever been stable with our current climate. It always oscillated between the two extremes and sat stable in one of the two extremes for long periods of time once it got there. In fact, most of the warming is the result of us coming out of our last ice age from 10,000 years ago.
