The Must-Do Story for New Year's | WWNY TV 7

This is like the lack of snow means interview Tim story.   New Year's , so do a story on police crackdowns.
Actually New Years is not the drinking fest people assume it is, and most people who are out are careful about getting a ride. Super Bowl and St. Pat's are more intense, but the New Year's DWI story is as obligatory as the Black Friday shopping story.
A story on hangover cures might be in order.

Its all about the overtime for our 'heroes'.
Even Scott Walker had to let the cops keep the bargaining privileges which he took from the teachers.
When they aren't busy busting some sexagenarian heads for having the audacity to try to help, they are serving us with road blocks.

Why don't they just quit harassing us folks? Some free country we live in, huh?
Oh, and everyone knows that cops and lawyers are the biggest drinkers of them all...

Why don't they do a crackdown on "Law and Order Night"....oh thats right I do know...rules don't apply to them...I better watchwhat I say....might have one climb in bedroom window shoot me then kidnap my wife...who knows. The days of the law enforcement getting away with things is ending and I think we should tail them and report any violations.....sit back and watch them cry foul.

Folks, the ugly fact remains. We elected the Kings and Queens who make these rules. You voted party line and you will do so again next time around. So enjoy what you voted for.

Driving home after a number of cocktails is never a good thing to do.
It's unfortunate you're limited to only a couple drinks after you work all week or are out in town supporting local business with friends, or enjoying a holiday. Excess drinking and driving is pretty stupid but the way the law sneaks up on drivers now, pulls them over with BS excuses is pretty sketchy.
Happy New Year
