Santa Goes Boating on Christmas Eve

Temps in the 40s for this Christmas Day. That is incredible as NNY continues its shirtsleeve winter. Everyone is talking about the weather and most are happy with the respite from the ravages of winter.
Even Santa found his duties more pleasant were it was boating weather on the St.Lawrence on Christmas Eve. (Photo by Horizon Aerial Media)
Makes you wonder if there will be ice this year.

this time of year, the law says you HAVE to have a lifejacket on. Arrest Santa now.

Santa came early for the SLC Sheriffs Deputies. This is why our county is a mess.. Whatever they gave them to equal pay of the corrections union was a gift period. They are not worthy of it.. They and they alone negotiated for years to seperate from the corrections union and finally got it a few years back.. Time has dictated the Corrections people much more important, and mandated.. Now the corrections people must get their due in turn.. twenty year retirement any age instead of the twenty five they now have....

Santa is not mortal, thus is not subject to the laws of New York State. What are you going to do write a ticket to Santa Claus North Pole, besides which you couldn't fingerprint him with those damn gloves on. How stupid can you get?

It's now obvious where all the losers and malcontents who previously occupied the jefferson county webboard have gone. Jeff, you should keep your blog running, but shut down the comments. It really isnt worth reading 90% trash comments, and 10% insightful. Better for you to just aggregate and opine, and let the losers look for a new gutter home.

The law is the law, 3:29. If it saves one life, it's worth it. Santa has to set an example. Fingerprints aren't that important any more. We use DNA. It's for our own safety. It's for our own good. We love government. I can see the press conference now. Benito and the Schmuck claiming credit for common sense Santa laws.

My dad used to keep the life jackets in a plastic garbage bag in the middle of the boat. We all survived.

9:09, Benito has decreed that lifejackets must be worn during the cold months. Who are we to question Benito?

6:20, calm yourself. Did you get any smiling in during Christmas, or were you busy golfing?
