WDT: Producer Says Guns and Drugs Just Stage Props

The producer of "Coco Whippin in the Kitchen"  says he was paid $400 to shoot and edit the four minute music video starring the man accused of last week's stabbing death of a Watertown man.
We are also told in this Times story the guns and drugs used are all fake and producer John Barker says he is personally opposed to the message portrayed.
That begs the question of why do it ? Pretty risky business for a $400 payday.

If Mr.Barker was truly opposed to the message in the video, he would have said 'thanks, but no thanks', but instead took the questionably sourced money.
It also appears he overcharged these hooligans for production that looks like an AFV home video. Oh, and I'm sure those doobies were props too, right Mr. Barker?

You sir, should be embarrassed and ashamed!

If he is opposed, Google must be a liar.

If the guns and drugs were real, there's an endangering the welfare of a child possible. But really the guy does us a favor by giving us all a look at the world you don't see on the local news

If he opposes the message portrayed, why did he stick himself in the video AND record lyrics for the video? Santa knows when you've been lying, John Barker.

So let me understand your logic. The (your) moral compass here is the amount of money being paid for the duty? "pretty risky business for a $400 payday" If it was $1,000 go for it but less than $500 hesitate.

He said he'd do the video for $800, but then settled for $400, even though it looks like there's more than $400 laying around in the video itself.
The guy's full of crap. And a lousy video producer.

The cleavage shots were pretty artistic though. :D

The shots of them cooking crack look real! Google it. The whole thing is wrong. Drugs that look to real, guns that are real, money everywhere, dead body flashes, and the mention of a person's name that was murdered! Look at the comment below the video. Someone disliked the name drop. Very much skating thin ice.
