President Obama used an Oval Office address to the nation to call for gun control and a continuation of the campaign against ISIS to eradicate the terrorist "thugs".
Mr. Obama said he would not authorize a significant ground campaign in Syria and Iraq.
Meanwhile back home, critics of the President say he too risk averse and is out of step with public concern over terrorism.
The problem with introducing gun control in the discussion of San Bernardino is that the two subjects are apples and oranges.
These are terrorists. They are not much interested in gun laws.
