Festive Week of Transition

Tomorrow is my last City Council meeting. I have no farewell address and while I am sure there will be well wishes, it will be a pretty typical Monday agenda and after meeting socializing at Pete's.
Other than that, a few pictures to remove from the office walls and that's that.
I went through the same drill in 1999 and what I found afterward is that having Monday's off is not something you miss, and while being part of the discussion is nice, you do get a different perspective from being a private citizen.
After Monday, it's on to the ramp up to Christmas. A favorite time of year as everyone is so friendly. We will have our customer party on Wednesday. Diana works Christmas Eve and I'll do Christmas Day. Then its on to Boxing Day.
Hope you all have a great week.

Jeff, look at the bright side, no more listening to S Gates blather on about his wretched dog park, at least not directed to you personally.

Nice photo of the Plumptons. Is he one of Ken and Marty's sons?

Make sure you take something from City Hall. Every President going out does. Why be different? :)
